The other campus of the university is also located inthe city of in South Assam, bordering Bangladesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, and Nagaland. It is the first university in among all the central university. The University provides the several under graduate and post graduate degree and diploma courses. The university provides the various degree coureses in undergraduate department such as B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Ed. etc. and provides the various diploma coureses in postgraduate department such as M.A, M.Com, M.SC, BBA, MCA, LLB, and so on. There are some other diplomas courses are also provided by the Assam University. The University conducts the various examination every year according to semester format in the month of June and December.
