It was established on 12th July 1960 for providing the higher education to all the students. The university is recognized by the university grant commission (UGC). The Univeristy has many affiliated colleges in all over the state. The University has more than 36 departments in various affiliated colleges. The University provides many degree and diploma courses to Undergraduate & Postgraduate students in various faculties. These all faculties are Science, Social Science, Humanities, Commerce, Management Studies, Law and others. Every year a huge number of candidates takes the admission in these all courses and achieve their goals. The university conducts the examination under the month of March to May.
