The Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is Started in the year 1999. The KVPY is a scholarship program. This program is funded by the Department of Science and Technology of the Government of India. The objective of the program is encourage the students to take up research careers in the areas of basic sciences, engineering and medicine.
